Cell Phones for Soldiers

Seen this on the news and think it is a great idea. I am sure many of use have old cell phones they no longer use. I bet I have 4 around the house.
Well you can donate them to this group they turn them into calling cards for the troops.
Many on this site have family and friends fighting the war overseas and know how hard and much it cost for them to call home. I know when I was over doing the first gulf war the first time I called home it cost an arm and leg back then. Lucky I found a way to call for free.
You dont have to support the war or agree with the war itself this is about those men and women who are just doing their job. Lets try to help those guys and gals out. Here is the link for the web site, I looked around and found that if there is nothing close to you that you can drop them off at, you can mail them for free.

I know my old phone are soon going to be sent to help

Found out it is also tax decutable even better

That's well intended but my son says that they have more than enough calling cards...just not enough phones. He has to wait his turn to use the one where he's at.Still,it's great to hear his voice once in a while.
