if it says classic on the back, sounds like someone stuck that on there. You can get all kinds of different ones. I've seen these but don't remember where.

Just like the guy that got a "2" and put it on the back of his so it said "2LT" instead of the standard "LT" or all of those guys that buy SS emblems to "make" their car an SS...

It is classic in the sense that the Majestic Amethyst was a 2006 only color.
Can you post a pic of what the 'classic LT' looks like? It does sound like an aftermarket add on.

And welcome to the HHR family!

i was thinking that too, but then i started thinking, wouldn't it also look kinda odd if it just shot off from the LT, the gap would appear huge, but who knows

That looks like the nameplate from the Malibu "classic" from a few years ago.

I have seen a few times when they carry over an old body style and also sell the new. THey will usually call the old one "classic" during that year. I know chevy did that in 1999 when the introduced the NBS truck and also still sold a previous body style, but only the short bed extended cab. I think they did it again with the change over to the current one also.

heh, even if it was supposed to be there doesn't guarantee it would be straight... Who was it on here that they put his bowtie in crooked twice or something at the dealer...

MA was offered for the first half of the 2007 production run.

The only first year only color is the DBM !
