Apparently, the people of China want their Olympics ceremonies to be rain-free, so they're going to shoot rockets at clouds to disperse them.

 

They CAN'T be serious!

Although, if they make it work I'd love to order backyard kits to make sure that weekends in the summer are rain free!

....kinda brings "climate change" to a whole new level...

 

HAHA!! Dude, people who sold those would make a killing around the 4th of July!

"Oh, you got some fireworks? Mine will make the rain go away."

 

I've heard of cloud seeding before. They use some kind of chemical to make it rain. Maybe they'll make it rain real hard before the clouds get to Beijing and then no more clouds when they get there? Never heard of cloud dispersal though...

 

It's a process that DOES work, as unorthodox as it seems.
