I ain't complaining, Dealer is giving me 4K (on paper) trade-in for my S-10

So he's trying to work with me..to get that 08 Panel..
After we came to an agreement on the price of the car, I also worked on what my monthly payment would be. I knew ahead of time what the best rate my bank would give me and I was able to knock the dealer down 3% on the interest rate. I came to the deal armed with my credit report and score ahead of time so I knew what rate the dealer should give me considering my rating. It saved me $29 a month on the payment.

I hope you are able to work out the deal to get that HHR Panel!

That's good planning... You were ready..

I already have my financing all lined up too.. My Bank @ 3.5%

Since Dealer won't get the financing (cause they can't match my rate)..
I guess they are being a bit harder on negotations..

I suppose since they will make no extra money by not financing..

Thanks, I hope I get it too.. 1 owner & Carfax report 'looks' clean.. & Maintence records, etc..

2008 Chevy Panel 2LT Summit White (Hopefully)........

Car deal went down on 7/30/2009. Is anyone still questioning our governments efficiency? I am.

I am sure you will eventually be paid for them all........

At lunch today while watching Neal Cavuto, I heard this phrase from Milton Friedman: "There's nothing more permanent than a temporary government program."

Get ready for phase 2!

Government can't pay and won't say when they will. Bernanke will have to re-fire up the printing presses so we can have some more cash. Yet they give the dealers a deadline to submit or they are f'd.

I hope so. This ended so abruptly. I wanted to buy a Prius, but nobody had them.

The problem with any of the cars I have is they all are worth more when I sell them than the Goverment will give me. My 12 year 2WD Sonoma with 100,000 miles sold for $5500. It took only 3 hours before the guy who bought it called me.

I My clunkers usually are better than the goverment is willing to pay. Also I usally have people waiting to buy. I just hope that hold true on my GTP When I sell it.

Well cash for clunkers was a boom for imports with our money going to 70% plus Asian brands. The top 4 trade in clunkers were American.

I wonder how much of that money will come back to our country?
