They actually have setups similiar to that, that you can get today..... But they are pricey.

I just picture everyone with those on their cars in the winter, driving about 10mph because they can only go that fast...

had a buddy that got those for his ford diesel. we used it for coyote hunting in the winter and would tear off across a field at 40. just had to handle turns slowly on the road because too fast would roll the tread off the tracks. his setup cost em about 5 grand. but all you had to do was take off your wheels and put the treads on. no mods with this kit. i think there are some that you have to mod a little but they are cheaper. i always wanted some for my 4 wheeler.
