I am currently working on an LED gauge cluster install for my wife's versa. Everything going swimmingly until I got to the HVAC. The HVAC is tinted and all of the paint and tint in on the back side. The entire face is clear plastic so I cant just sand the tint away.

Does anyone know where I could get a custom overlay created that I could stick over the outside of the HVAC panel then I could sand off the tint from the rear. Please see the link for a perfect example.

I would think a local sign shop or window tint place could at least steer you, if not do it.

 

I've see a fair amount of 97-02 F-body overlays from this site and the quality has always been really good. Don't know if they'd do one, but they do that kind of stuff. I do the 200 MPH electronics upgrades for those F-bodies. They are local so they can look at my car if they need an example. Also I'd guess if a few more people want the same thing it would be more reasonable for them.
