Danica Patrick - first woman open-wheel winner
A long time in coming - Danica Patrick won the Indy Japan 300 at Twin Ring Motegi racetrack in Tokyo to become the first woman to win in a major open-wheel racing circuit.
I've been a fan since her first Indy 500. I actually think this is going to be good for open-wheel racing: raising its profile above the "boys-only" argument that motorsports fall into. What do y'all think? :thumb: |
would love to go head to head with her at Gran Turismo

All I have to say is...
OHHHH YEAHHH!!! Good for her... :thumb: http://image.motortrend.com/f/editor...ca-patrick.jpg http://entertowin.files.wordpress.co...al_121_lg1.jpg http://pixhost.eu/avaxhome/avaxhome/...lendar2008.jpg |
I watched it.........She gambled and won.
She led a total of 3 laps because everybody else ran out of Ethanol..... She is good..........but.........I personally don't think she is getting the best car! |
which might mean shes better than you think

SAD TO SEE "CART" GONE BUT ONCE ALL THE BUGS ARE WORKED OUT OPEN WHEEL RACING WILL BE BACK STRONGER THAN EVER.....:one:
|
It's great, but do you think anyone would care if she wasn't hot?

I sure wouldn't want to see Brittney Spears or Paris Hilton on the tracks... http://images.eonline.com/eol_images...ney.080707.jpg http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2007/..._470x355,0.jpg |
I would love to see Danica in NASCAR. Talk about fan base. She might even rival Jr. for fans.
|
Jr might become a fan if he isn't already :D
