Don't get too excited - I don't think they are going to go into production for many months on these...

I've bugged Bonnie enough to say, "We'll see."

You know what that means.........I'm gettin' a new daily driver and Bob gets to keep looking perty and getting pertier without the daily grind!

I wonder if the interiors will me more color matched? I love the red and black two-tone but I'd like to get an Imperial Blue and I just donj't think that interior would look right.

Ain't it great to already be able to b!tch and moan?!

Nice new attitude O6! Can I still bust your balls in a joking manner if I'm not mean?

The red interior is an SS only option, I can scan in the color and interior options too if you want. Personally the Flash Blue really isnt all that on paper, maybe on the car it will be different.

I'm a bit miffed

I had been considering an HHR and was going to wait for the SS. I had seen the spy photos and videos and the articles here and there.. I even called Chevy and was connected to someone in Marketing abour two weeks ago and the said they didn't know anything about the SS version of the HHR. I even went to a dealer and he looked at his "secret" web site and didn't show anything. So I'd been talking about the HHR and looking at it and hoping for the SS but didn't want to wait, and when both Chevy and the dealer said no SS, I decided to either wait or look at a 2LT.. So I took my wife and daughter to "look" at the HHR and Chevy did have the 4th of July offer until the 9th, so I ended up getting a pretty nice Blue 2LT with leather, sunroof and XM. I'm happy and I think I like the original grille style about that of the SS as I think it evokes the '48 Suburban more closely, but I am left to wonder what might have been.. Although when the lease is up on our Explorer, perhaps the HHR SS will be out and I can decide at that time.. Hey everythin happens for a reason, right? Well I'm off to make my wish list of addons and accessories. My daughter is calling the HHR "heather" but I think I'll spell it HHeatheR..

Thumbs up bump

I am just in love with the photo of the SS, and I noticed this thread wasn't in the top 10 at this time, so I thought I would post it up to the homepage again!!!

I have never seen a thread get 7,700+ hits in such a short amount of time. WOW! This is the hottest thread ever!

your agent is correct.... gotta have vin...... It will take the insurance industry a while to figure out it's a sporty...... in fact they may never figure it out.. I got a client that drives a 1st year crossfire and his insurance is very reasonable... I keep waiting for his renewal to go through the roff but it never has.......

Agrees. I had a Crossfire as well and the insurance wasn't too bad. However the maintenance and fuel costs are what made us depart
