Did anyone else get the new Slayer album?

I think Slayer is tied up with their own tour right now.

Buckhead has his own agenda:

From Wikipedia;

Buckethead achieved a greater public profile as a member of Guns N' Roses from 2000 to 2004; unfortunately, the band was rarely active in this era. Guns N' Roses response to Buckethead's departure was;

"During his tenure with the band, Buckethead has been inconsistent and erratic in both his behavior and his commitment, despite being under contract, creating uncertainty and confusion and making it virtually impossible to move forward with recording, rehearsals, and live plans with confidence. His transient lifestyle has made it near impossible for even his closest friends to have nearly any form of communications with him whatsoever."

Wow, all I can say is this thread went every which way. This definitely has been one of the best debate threads in a while.

Captain,
I enjoy discussing stuff like this, especially when it involves two of my passions: Christ and music. Believe it or not, I still listen to some old 70's rock occasionally. I still love Lynrd Skynrd, The Doobie Brothers, and a bunch more of the older stuff. I ran accross something really disturbing a few days ago ... a bluegrass tribute to Van Halen called Strummin' With the Devil that was put together by David Lee Roth. Man that was disturbing!
