Disney Car's Movie

Pixar really makes good films. This was a good movie to see even that the fact that it was made towards kids. It brought the old cars and new cars together. A good movie to see. I give it 5 thumbs up

I've seen alot of trailers and such for it and it looks great. Plus they had a bunch of the stars at the Charlotte NASCAR race to promote it as well. Saw alot of it during all the stuff for All Star/Coca Cola 600 coverage. Darrell Waltrip is even one of the voices and they changed his name I believe to Darrell Cartrip or something like that. Sounds like something fun to do...maybe I'll take my 10 year old grandson with me so people don't look at me like I'm some sort of nut.

AWESOME MOVIE!!!! Not only does Mr Waltrip voice over, but Richard Petty as "the king" and a cameo by Dale Jr. Many others as well I am sure! Great new versions of "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts and "Route 66" by John Mayer. Went to see it opening day, the 3 year anniversary of my son Deacon's passing away. Couldn't have picked a better way to spend the day for a car buff like me. Showed up early to have lunch at his site and visit, then off to the movies. I even bought him a little "lightning mcqueen" toy from KayBee's! Going to see the movie again here this week at the drive-in. They show it twice, once at 8pm and again at midnight! Plus you use your car's stereo and nothing sounds better than that! Yay!

Went to go see the movie on opening night, but a half hour before show time the theater lost power. The power stayed out for 2 hours! At least got movie vouchers so I plan on seeing it this week.

The movie plot is a lot like Doc Hollywood. In some ways. Big City guy winds up in small town, Judge Orderded him to do community service, then he finish his time and once he gets back into the big city life he realize that he fell in love with the little town that held him back from the place that he needed to get to. If you see the movie you will know what I mean based on the above comparsion.

That's what it sounded like to me, without having seen it yet.

I'm hoping to get to the drive in next weekend to see it. Ours is playing Cars and Wild as a double feature, and my girls are bugging me to see both. (Of course, we don't tell them that we want to see it as badly as they do!)

"My name's Mater.....Mater?.....Yeah. Like TaMater except without the Ta"... Great movie! I saw it last night. I'm going again today. This time I'm taking my niece and nephew. I think I was laughing more than the kids in the theater were. :twothumbs
