Went into Micheal's to look at Christmas crafts, at dusk. When we came out, I saw the most beautiful car in the murky light. It was, yes, it was an HHR, but such a rich purple color. I yelled, "Oh, look, is that a majestic amethyst -- oh my GOD is it a 2-tone? Look the fenders are DARKER!!! Look, is that a stripe going down the side, is it a Fall edition?" After going into all these ecstasies, hubby says, "You idiot, it's YOUR CAR!" I didn't even notice the woody trim or the whitewalls, just the pretty colors in the moonlight.

 

Have to laugh at yourself once in a while!

Isn't it great when you get to admire your own car. Wonder what the other people do when they see their car. You know the point a to b people.

 

Some stare, most are oblivious. I like the smiles and thumbs up best, mostly from the oldsters who appreciate the nod to the old ways. It's a little embarrassing to be rhapsodizing about your own car like you've never seen it before, tho...
