Just saw the program on tv "Motor Week". 2008 Dodge Caliber is out as a SRT, 4 cyl, no automatic but a 6 speed getrag tranny. Think they said 260 hp and times were 2 seconds faster than regular caliber and under $23000. They said it had a lot of torque steer. Mpg 23-28.
Come on Chevy, get the HHR SS to us now.

Chevy is going to do it right so it's worth waiting just a little longer. The Caliber is only offered in four exterior colors and one interior color. I'm pretty sure the HHR SS will have more colors available. The Caliber may be fast and more affordable, but they're not the only factors that determine what car is better.

There are pros and cons to every car, but I think the HHR SS is going to have a greater appeal to the mass market than the Caliber SRT4.

I know. I just don't want people thinking that Chevy is copying what others are doing first.

For centuries, everyone has copied everyone else. It's everywhere and not just cars. It's what's better that really counts.
