My drag racing hero died a few months back. Ronnie Sox "the Boss" Number 15 NHRA all time list, First Pro Stock Champion. What is cool though is most of the time you don't get to meet your sports hero much less to work with and be friends with them, but I did. I'll find some pictures and post them.

Made my day! The top prostock car is like one we redid for Ronnies son Dean. Dean was in the replica when they made their only pass against each other. I crewed both cars that day! The bottom car is the 65 a/fx . We redid an altered to look like this one about 4 years ago. It's in a museum in VA. Ronnie and I took iit to a test and tune night at Peidmont Dragway before he sold it.

I started going to Drag Races back in 63, without a doubt my favorite wasn't a driver but was Miss Hurst Golden Shifter...Miss Linda Vaughn.

Even today she looks great.
