So get this the dealer where i bought my hhr Ken Nelson of Dixon Illinois (they know im a gear head) had a mini car show yesterday and Duane the shop foreman for boyd coddington was there and them weenies didnt let me know i was pissed!! So they gave me an autographed American racing rims poster (they bought out coddington by the way) sounds like Boyd has run his wheel buis into the ground!! But i just thought some might like to know!!

 

I thought on one of the episodes Boyd sold the rim business. That is the one his ex-wife was involved with..

yeah i have heard some bad things in other sites about crappy products from Boyd!! i think hes to high on himself and thats why he has alienated all his real friends like the guys on the show etc...

 

After watching the show on Discovery, it's amazing anyone would want to work for him.

foose is ok...im much more impressed with the everyday backyard mechanic that works all day to support his love

 

So... All I want to know - Is Duane as much of a TOOL in person?

 

too bad you couldent have showed him your HHR, who knows if they saw one maybe they will do one on the show sometime!

 

Let's all remember that Boyd Coddington has killed his businesses at least three times now...kinda' like American Chopper, too much drama not enough creativity and business sense...Figures that American Hot Rod and American Chopper are now both on TLC, perfect bookends....whine, whine, whine instead of being incredibly thankful for the blesings of being able to make an fantastic living doing what most of us would give body parts to do...Hey was I ranting ??? hahaha my bad !!!
