Evel Knievel-Dead at 69

Evel Kneivel was my first hero growing up. I watched everything he did and followed his career through the good and the bad. I was into motorcycles because of him and probably got some of my attitude from him. All of the extreme moto-x riders of today owe it all to him. He will always be a legend and a hero to me.

Weird....my buddy Jon and I were just talking about him like two hours ago and neither of us knew he was dead. At least he died of old age rather than jumping of a cliff like expected.

Living a life like Evel gives you a life expectancy of maybe like 40 at most. 69 is old for a man like that.
