Fast little HHR

Ok. It's a HHR body but we know the rest is just a drag car. But it is neat to see one hauling down the 1/4 mile that fast.

Thanks FMG- I like that, & a Panel too. Sounds a bit like mine (Then I woke up).. I was rooting for him to win, but he still did the HHR proud.
8 seconds is certainly nothing to sneeze at,.. That is hauling.

Reminds of the days when station wagons were used in certain classes for weight transfer.
Would like to know how much of it was composite material and OEM metal.

I would still like to have an HHR gasser... straight axle and all.

I don't care how bad a '60s style gasser handled. I want one.

That was part of the fun to build one.
Light weight, high horsepower and squirrely ride.

This was the car that jerk me had a chance to own, as I worked for the man, for a good price plus trailer.
This picture doesn't show the injection stacks on it.
Two different setups where use, Enderle and Hilborn.
Pearl White and chopped top.
