What a great Father's Day. Not sure how Sabrina will top this next year. My wife went and did something amazing. She got me a pass to go take a 2010 Dayton 500 car around the local race track. Speeds upwards of 150MPH, so they are tuned down some. Its a real race though against 9 others with no pace or lap car. For the first time in a long time I am nervous. It will be fun, but there may be 9 fools on the track with me. Then again, I may not hit 100MPH. Cool thing though.

I got through it. Amazing run. What a blast! It was great. Over 100 was hard to hit on the 1/2 mile short track but it was great. They kept telling me to slow down and let the others catch up. Even 1 of the 2 pro drivers who have an advantage in the type of car could not get around me and I was not blocking. Just pulling a Ricky Bobby. 'Cause, if you ain't first, you're last.

It was the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience. Held at the local Motordrome Speedway.
