Ford shows new Bullitt Mustang

Seen these 2 news briefs

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Ford Motor Company will unveil a new special edition Mustang, designed to commemorate the 1968 Steve McQueen movie 'Bullitt,' at next week's Los Angeles Auto Show.

In that movie, in which McQueen played police detective Frank Bullitt, he drove a dark green 1968 Mustang through narrow, hilly San Francisco streets in a now-classic chase scene

Found this the most interest part about this:

Introduced in 2001, the retro-styled PT Cruiser wagon is classified as a crossover. It sales have dropped significantly in recent years, especially as it has faced competition from the very similar Chevrolet HHR introduced in 2006.

Although it is still the fifth-most popular compact crossover in America, just behind the Chevrolet HHR, its sales are down 27 percent so far this year, according to the Power Information Network.

Loved the original 1968 Bullit Mustang, my first car was a 1967 mustang coupe, same color tho.

That always killed me you would hear him shift like 7-8 times with a 4 speed??? LOL

Baldwin motion chevelle, camaro or vette here!!
or a 426 70 hemi cuda would be acceptible!!! lol

He may have shifted a lot, but Steve McQueen did the actual driving int he film. He also did racing, both bikes and cars
