I am now a Pirate.. I have no clue what to do, though. I found an island, but ALAS! No buried treasure... aargh..

 

I was looking around on this game, and I seen that a sn "kdugg" has the most doubloons... Is this the same "kdugg" on here?

 

You get XP by attacking other pirates, go to "walk ashore" then click # 2 "Whose who" then find an offline pirate of your level and click the name, then you can use the attack link on that page to attack them.

Be sure to vote for gold, gold bars are worth about 2000 doubloons and high level players will buy them off you.

 

Yea.. I'm figuring it out slowly.. I didn't know about the attack feature, but I have ransacked about 3 or 4 unarmed merchant ships and got about 7,000 doubloons total so far. I bought a cannon, and I'm under repairs right now because I hit a reef

 

be sure to put your treasure in your chest, higher level pirates like to prey on lower levels with a lot of gold and doubloons showing... if it is in your chest it doesn't show up on the who's who...

 

I found that too... I haven't gotten plundered, but I seen that it was sort of like a bank. So I put most of my stuff into the chest and buried it... You'll ne'er find me treasure!

Yeah, I got signed in fine, but then I was trying to help a co-worker create an account on my computer and I got banished for having 2 account on the same ip address. lame. they're not responding to my e-mails either.
