Hey everybody, just dropping by to see what's goin? Techincally my unit has been for over 100 days which means we are about 1/4 of the way done with our 15 month deployment.

So far, nothing exciting has been goin on which is nice. I spend most of my time either fixing commo platforms for our trucks or pushing papers (email) to higher. Of course there are mandatory meetings to cover what I fixed and what I broke trying to fix something else. Other than that I am just counting down days til R & R leave (about 6 months) and then coming home (about 12 months).

Still waiting on some new products to come out for the HHR so I can start spending some of my deployment money.

 

Thanks for checking in and letting us know you're safe. Tell everyone we support them wholeheartedly, even if the press says otherwise!

Well, the sun isn't so hot here anymore which is kinda nice. It's 60's in the day and 30's and night, down into the 20 with wind chill. Christmas was spent relaxinig doing as little as possible. Hopefully tommorrow (New Years Day - which is only 1 1/2 hours away) will bring the same. It will bring a promotion for me. I will be promoted to Staff Sergeant (E-6). So, it looks like the New Year will start out well for me. I hope the same for everyone else.

 

Happy New Year Airborne Beachbum Good job on the promotion. You need to go to Race And Street and check out there new HHR parts. Also Mike at the HHR store And At the HHR Boutique on the venders list. Have done several mods on mine so far.
