fyi. battery price

hello all
ihave a 2011 800 hp with a battery that wont hold a charge. after calling several polaris dealers and and getting a shock at how much that little battery cost, i got on the web and found several places that had a replacement. the cheapest one i found was at batteries plus. cost $107.00 plus tax. 30 amp hours, 300cca, maintainance free, 1 year waranty. part#xt30lb. it is the exact same size as the original battery but weighs around 5 pounds more, might be a better battery? i guess i will find out in about a year after the waranty runs out.
thanks

You are talking about an HHR battery, aren't ya ? 800 hp ?

Did you get one with the external vent tube ?

330cca, that's a lot smaller than stock, should be at least 600cca.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about a Polaris ATV not his HHR.

Maybe, but never heard of a polaris w/800hp...

If that is the case, I just put a new 300cca in my riding mower, cost $35. @ local Tractor Supply.

I'm pretty sure the HP in this case stands for high performance. My sister and brother in law have a Polaris quad. IIRC, Polaris's have names like the Polaris Dragon HP, Storm HP, Sportsman HP, etc.

I just replaced mine at Advanced Auto Parts. $116.00 and they put it in right in the parking lot.
