FYI.....Lowes has 10X10 shelters CHEAP!!!

Our shelter got ruined by a flash thunderstorm Wednesday. Went to Lowes today. They are clearing out (75% off!) all of the patio furniture which included all of the portable shelter.

I was able to get 10X10 shelters, reg. $160, for $40!! Cheap enough, that I even got a couple spares. I got the nicer one, but they was another 10X10 for only $25!

This is the one we paid $40 for LINK

Funny you should mention this deal, I went to Home Depot to get painters tape, and came out with a NEW 12x12 Canopy for $49!!!

These come in handy at car shows, bike events, and outdoors in general.

I am replacing another one that I have had for 7-8 years, that still works but is a little tweaked out. Once at a car show, winds picked up took my shelter for a flight and it landed in a pretzel position, luckly it did not hit any show cars!!! It still worked, but frame is a little weak!!!!!

Later,
Mark

A couple of years ago I bought a 10 x 20 for $75.00 with a $10.00 rebate at PEP Boys. But it wasn't an easy-up style. I might have to go an check these guys out...

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, down here in "hurricane heaven" we install only hardened wood shelters bolted to a concrete slab. Plastic and aluminum just don't cut it.

I had a 10 x 10 until last month, a storm out of nowhere took care of that one. Went and bought a 12 x 12 afterwards. Great for washing/waxing HHRs and other vehicles under. Great find Mike! Just wish I hadn't already replaced the old one.

These are portable. Now if the HOA would understand that, and quit sending those dam violation notices.

I had to go to St Louis this morning to take a delivery to the Edward Jones Dome for the Mizzou-Illinois game tommorrow, so I stopped at two different Lowes. SOLD OUT Tried the Lowes in Columbia. Same story. As usual I'm a dollar short and a day late. The first place I went said a guy just bought the last 4 he had.
