Makes some sense in certain areas. Sort of a sit-down motorcycle. It could be lengthened for storage. Might be street-legal, as it goes at least 35 mph, but I doubt it - doesn't a car require air bags? I sure wouldn't want to get into an accident, but that's true for a motorcycle as well. Too big for a bike path, so concept must be for street use. Del Webb type of communities use? Security guards at malls and large plants?

Edit: Just saw the writeup about it - may actually drive itself and uses "Vehicle to Vehicle" communication (V2V) which avoids accidents, thus no airbags necessary. Sure can see this in developing countries. To me, this is the exciting thing about technology and lousy gas prices - it creates new avenues to the future.

That's probably just what they said about Henry Ford's first car. GM said the same thing about the Prius. Progress takes balls and vision. Don't you see this as just a part of the future?

I suspect lots of folks driving Buicks think the same about our HHRs...

come on now, 99.9% of the population wound not be caught dead in something as silly as that. a prius is practical, that silly electric rascal thing is not.

can you imagine driving that in the winter, in the rain, hauling groceries, being in a accident on the interstate or even a highway in that thing lmao?
