A few months ago we gave you a sneak peak at what Gary Gardella and the rest of guys at Gardella Racing were up to for the 2009 Formula Drift season. Well their creation has finally come to life and the monster and its pilot, 2008 Formula D Driver of the Year Ryan Tuerck, are ready to take on whatever combo of man and machine decides to line up next to them. The vehicle, as we released earlier, is a Pontiac Solstice GXP that was started as a joint-effort between Mobil 1 and Gardella Racing. The Solstice gives Gardella and his team a great starting point with a near 50/50 weight distribution, excellent production handling characteristics and of course, the tremendously powerful ECOtec engine.
