Google Street view!

While looking up an address yesterday on Google maps I noticed a new feature called street view. I started playing around with it and put in my home address. I was blown away when I see myself standing in my drive way getting ready to wash my truck. I never saw the picture car drive by either. I don''t know how much of the country has this option but it is a trip! You can cruise around most of LA and OC. Check it out!

In dallas the guy that takes the pictures drives a Malibu. It has a poll on the roof that is about 4 feet tall and about 5 inches wide. He just drives down the road snapping pictures. When he came in for service he showed me the Dell computer that it is all set up on. Very neat deal. Not all cites have it yet.

You can spin the view completely around, up & down too using the mouse. You can even look down and see the car taking the pictures.
