St. Patties day is tomorrow...I'm sure many know that.

Wishing many of you who are Irish, and many of you who are Irish for this day, the best of times.....have a Guiness for me and a really great Corned Beef and Cabbage.

I have absolutely no Irish in my blood but my mom used to make corned and cabbage with potatoes every year. I really could have used one of the masks. It might have provided an excuse not to eat that stuff. Corned beef is only good on a reuben and cabbage should be made into cole slaw. Boiling it all together is almost criminal!

 

I loves me corned beef, cabbage and potatoes with horseradish sauce on ta side. Oh my, my, my tis good.....

 

i hate to tell you guys that corned beef is an american dish its not irish......the only reason its known for the irish is becuz when they came over during the famine it was a cheap meat to buy......

I really don't care if it's truly Irish or not, all I know is it's good!! Especially cured with brown sugar and Guinness!!

Never could get past the smell of the cabbage to even try it.

I had it 3 nights last week and I'm all the better for it (burp). Good stuff, if my daughters' names aren't Erin and Megan!! Happy Day everyone.
