Haha Gotta luv the banner ads

Ha for the past few days, well those that I have even noticed it, it has been displaying all 100% Dodge ads. I haven't searched for any Dodge info and I always thought that the banner is driven by the site and not Google. But I am probably very wrong on that part. Any way I just think it is funny that this is a Chevy site and the banner ads are 100% Dodge cars/trucks.

Edit: after posting this it turned into Infinity lol. I can't even dream about affording one of those lol and have not searched for them ever.

Could your kids or friends have searched that at some point?

No kids and friends don't come over to use the computer. GF and I are the only users and she does not look at car stuff at all. She hates how much I spend on my car sites lol.

Funny thing is is that the Dodge ads are only on this site. On the other car related forum I frequent the banner over there does not display Dodge ads at all.

I wonder if using YouTube captures your preferences. Google owns it.

I noticed today, when a video was forwarded on another forum. When I clicked it, a Google ad came up on the bottom of the video.

This is sort of a technology related to IP addresses.
Because on my screen I can see Russian advertising and Russian banners.
The technology is implemented by Google. For example, now I see ads subdealer Renault in Moscow, as well as advertising the Gorky Automobile Plant and car GAZ "Huntsman."
