Halloween costume : this is just stupid

Seems like you can't do anything anymore without offending someone. Why can't people just lighten up and have fun!

I want to see the costume. I thought it said she praised it for originality, but changed her tune after some complaints. Make up your own mind and let everyone else have their own opinion.

wait until the fright factor is removed from Halloween due to the fact that kids are too sensitive these days....geezus, what happened to just having fun? Have any of you from the 60's ever been offended by the "hippie" gear costumes? I think not... people just need to learn to deal with real life.

Political correctness has gone WAY too far and I think most of the kids nowadays will be some of the biggest wussies you'll ever see.....

*end rant*

If we all get over being offended, we would all get along.

Geeze, it amazes me what makes the news these days. Some people just need to get a life. Every costume is designed to make you look like someone or something else. Isn't that the point?

ANd we wonder what's wrong with America today. Aren't we interfering with his right of free speech through expression, whether we agree with the costume or not?

The thing about "rights" is, that they can only be taken advantage of until they start infringing on others' rights. In this case, if somebody found it offensive, his right of free speech infringed upon the offended's right of happiness

It's like everybody has their own bubble, but your bubble can't mess with other people's bubbles

It takes a LOT to offend me...I am not the type that wants to scream "I'm suing you for sexual harassment because you looked at my chest" while wearing a t-shirt that says "sexy" on it.... or whatever (you get the point).

The only thing that would offend me is use of the "C" word us females hate. Other than that, go for it... you'll find that I can bark with the biggest of the dogs and not run away with my tail between my legs....

I am teaching my children to be strong and firm and I am NOT afraid to spank my child in public, especially if they deserve it. Back when I was a kid, it was called discipline, now it's called abuse..... Our society has become too damn soft and needs to learn to step up to the plate and take what they have coming to them.

Our troops have had to go through "sensitivity classes" WTF is that about????? In a time of war, you need to be sensitive to the enemy?????? OMG..... I'm going to pack a bag and live on the moon if we keep going in the direction we are.....
