I've never even played HALO I or II.. But they do get a hell of a lot of media attention. They even made a new flavor of some drink just for HALO III

My place of work had a midnight event Monday night to kick off the sale of Halo 3, and it was a huge success. I wondered how many of the college kids were up all night playing Halo and didn't make it to class the next day.

I've never played Halo, I do play Call of Duty United Offensive online though. Jeez, Call of Duty is an old game these days. But my computer is old, so I can't play much of the newer stuff, which is mainly intentional-- I'd spend too much time online if I had a current rig capable of playing better stuff.

I played the first Halo, it was so-so. I play counter-strike source some and Nexuiz when I need hardcore first person action. Halo does look nice, but the price of the hardware to make it look that good on PC doesnt justify it for me :)
