Just wanted to introduce myself... bought an '08 HHR yesterday. It's an LS with automatic & the window delete (half way between a panel HHR). I love the thing!!!

Black! I have a thing for black vehicles. Sure, they're a pain to clean but they look SOOOOO good when you're done :)

Kinda funny the way it worked out... I've been admiring the HHR from a distance. I sat in one at the L.A. auto show when they first came out (2006?). I went to my local dealer to drive one, and ended up buying the first one I walked up to! It was love at first sight I guess

I can't wait to paint the factory grille black (IMHO it's too prominent on a dark car), and shop for some rims :)

How surprising you could find one with the rear window delete option on a lot. I wonder if someone ordered it then changed their mind. If I get another HHR, I plan to order it with that option also. I need the back door windows for better visibility but the rear windows are of little use to me.
