Help me find a place like this.

This particular place is in California although I do not know where.

What I am looking for, a place in Texas, that has a beaten path of flat trail to drive through the dirt and mountains. Something easy that will not require wheeling, just a stroll through a dirty trail is all I am looking for. And if anyone in Cali knows what this particular place is called I would like to know that too.

Did he use mountains AND Texas in the same sentence??
Maybe state parks,,,,around the border( at your own risk) or on some farmers land....
Texas has a few bumps in the roads on the eastern side, its still mostly flat...now go down to, forgot the name, RIO? west of Laredo and you'll probally find some dirt there on some rolly pollies.

Well I use mountains loosely. I live at 0 elevation and Texas has 6k+ in hill country.

Palo Duro canyon near Amarillo has this type of terrain. Then take a trip on Route 66.

El Paso has montains the foot hills of the Rockies.
