Hey, remeber record albums?

Just a link to a bit of record album silliness.

I'm betting we could do some here too.

I still have my "picture disc" versions of the Return of the Jedi soundtrack, Thriller, and some newer vinyl of Alien Ant Farm and Marilyn Manson. Lol. I love the sound of records.

I rediscovered my parents LP collection a while back.
Talk about some value-

How about the Rolling Stones picture album...NEVER been opened!
They have about 150 old vinyls...many of which still smell new(love that smell).

I turned my old 45 collection in to a pile of urban assault frisbies years ago...
(kicks self)...but when I was old enough to have my own stereo, 45's were fading out(remember Columbia Records Club?), and cassette tapes were IN...

today's youth has no idea how lucky they are(and we have no idea how to work their music gadgets)

I recently bought a collection, badly in need of order, of five thousand or so albums. Many of them are 78s and in boxes and albums from the fifties and forties. Interesting stuff.

Plus the usual rock and easy listening stuff of the last few decades.

Duane Eddy albums were in mint shape, all the Kiss ones were trashed.
Kinda goes with the territory and respect each generation had for their music. Kiss and Zep heads simply lived to party and it shows in their cultural debris!
One could write a term paper on this stuff.
