Hey, I realize some don't need the 2.4 engine, chrome appearance package, or 17" wheels (you buy what you like) but no disrepect to any Ls owner's. lets be real I'm sure their are some Ls owners who view their cars to be better than a 1 or 2Lt.

I can honestly say I have yet to see an LS on the road where I am. Every HHR I've seen is either the LT1 or LT2. Even the Rentals out here are LT1's.

I really didn't go with the LS only because I wanted the 2.4 engine. I also didn't go with the 2LT because it had some features that I would have paid for but not kept, like the wheels, sport suspension, etc. So I ordered the 1LS with just the options I want. As far as what I would do if I see an LS on the street. I would try getting the drivers attention and give him / her a wave, just as I would do to any HHR. I don't pay any attention to what trim level they come with, just the fact that it's an HHR is enough for me.

Hey, I feel ya STG! I'm poor too! When I saw that survey thread where everyone was making 60K and up I was like, "Whoa!!!" I'll be proudly driving my LS as soon as I save up enough money!!! And once I put some wheels on and debadge it, no one will know for certain anyway. I really like the fully loaded ones, but 24K for a station wagon is a bit much. Of course, if I was making 60K, it might not seem so steep.

I think everyone is thinking the wrong way. OF COURSE your gonna like your hhr more than anyones. ITS YOURS. And if you are modding it you are doing mods that you want to do. You wouldnt do it if you didnt like it. You might not like someone elses mod, meaning you arent going to like their hhr. I think all hhr's are beautiful....except for woodies. But I'm sure if someone did a woody theyd love it....not really sure how but i bet they would.
