So i go out to my car, i had it parked in front of my house so i could move my truck into the garage. well I ate dinner and passed out on the couch, get up about one too move it into the driveway and i notice something on the windshield, looks to be pop or something. I get out to looks and its on every window, every panel, the hood, on plastic, on the driver side of the car. So i pull it up in the driveway to wash it off first i touched it on the windows and it came right off but had no smell at all, but it was hardened kinda on the paint. So i wash it and as im drying it i notice its still there.It wasn't! that was my bare metal, all the way down my whole car! every thing that is plastic like the plastic around the mirrors are like melting, they have like pits in them even the LED tails have some on it. Looks like i got it off before any more damage was done, but i can see all over the paint like bubbles almost looks like fish eyes. So it has to be some kind of acid or acetone based substance its weird that there is no smell though. Seems like it was sprayed with a squirt bottle by a passing car. Overall id say there is over 4,000 worth of damage easy.
Im seriously beyond pissed off, i called to police immediately after seeing what happened. I can almost bet i wasn't the only car. I have no enemies or anything so im thinking it was just some punk kids ruining nice looking cars out of pure spite or jealousy.
So im not sure if the whole car will be repainted or what? I called the insurance company, they said i can start having it fixed immediately. Luckily my paint guy is on their list of "authorized" repair company's. I will take it tomorrow to schedule an appt. Its been a long time since i have ever made a claim with insurance so i know its going to go up. Funny thing is i was just there today adding the truck to my policy. The good thing is though the people that did this are lucky i didn't catch em cause id probably be in jail right now. Looks like im gonna have to go ahead and get the cameras installed all around my house. Lived here for 1 year almost exactly and haven't had any problems until now. Ill get pics tomorrow.

 

holy crap man that is not cool at all make sure your cameras you get do the infared night vision my uncle has some installed and damn man its worth it

Yeah they will already had them price about a month ago.

 

they work damn good and if you get a good setup and get permission from a neighbor or 2 you can actually get angle shots for tags on cars if something happens uncle did that for his neighbors his records to his computer he has 2 houses that has camera setups that send signal to his house and records.

Your insurance shouldn't go up most allow up to 3 vandalism Claim's before your rate's jump. Atleast that is what i was told when my old car was keyed.
