I think its becasue of the hybrid eddition, plus the nav system option. Which gave it a shoe in for car of the year. The Civic has always been a popluar car and most stolen.

Why would you want to eat a Civic..LOL. I had this prof. in college that always said "There is more then one way to skin a cat". I was always ask myself why would anyone want to skin a cat, plus how many ways can it be done, I guess he must know because he must of done it before, which is why he kept bring it up.

Well, when I lived in Seattle for 20+ yrs. R stood for Rainer Beer! Like so many other good things, they closed the Brewery and moved and now its not quite the same! I worked a block away from "The Big R". Had a couple of buddies worked there and on Fridays could get a case of 16 oz. bottles for $4.99! *sigh* Didn't they just beat OU? I like Tech, glad to see them doing well again.

I'm I missing something about these "R' Type logo's or car model's. Everyone has an different prespectives on it. Please do not think I live under a rock or anything.

Usually R stands for racing. Hence some bad a** cars like the Mustang Cobra R , but ricers have taken to slapping a big red R on anything with a body kit. Also look at all of the import crap labeled as type R, like such cool racing parts as gas pedal covers, shift knobs, and car seat covers.

Yes. Tech beat OU on Saturday with a last play of the game touchdown. 8 seconds on the clock with 2 yds to go and they came through. Now they are going to the Cotton Bowl against Alabama I think.
