rent is like throwing money away it took me buying a house to relize that thats even better if its the same as your rent payment this way you know you could already afford it and now you get all the tax breaks and wright offs whens the party I'll but the first,thirdand fifth round

Congrats, Chad! Life as you knew it, is now over! The HHR WILL take a back seat to the house...could you paint this room, could you put up a shelf over here, ooh, & there's a nice spot over there for a flower bed, etc, etc. Good luck!

Congrats on the new home! I am actually purchasing a home right now as well. It is a 3 bedroom townhome in Aurora, IL, and it is a foreclosure in excellent condition so I am getting a pretty sweet deal!

Yes please stay away from the adjustable rates. Got screwed.

We bought our first home about 4 years ago and it was a nightmare!

Home started to fall apart, it was going to cost nearly 35k to fix a 95k house. So we said to heck with it and let the banks have it back.

We rent now and don't have to worry about fixin' stuff.

Congrats on your purchase tho.
