I checked my dealer's storage lot on my way to work this morning - he has a line of about 30 or so HHR's parked on it. It's the first time I've seen him with any stock on them in about two months. Not because the dealer isn't ordering them, but they're able to move their inventory quickly enough that the fuel-efficient models barely stay on the lot for two weeks before they're gone. Let's put it this way ... I always see the same 50 Silverados, Trailblazers and Tahoes in the storage lot, but the HHRs change, the Malibus change and I have yet to see them having to store a single Cobalt or Aveo.

 

Used to be the local dealer here always had an assortment of new models in the showroom. For the last year or so all that's in there are Corvettes.
Last time I went in there I counted 14 of them! Everything else sits outside and they seem to be constantly shufflling them all around the lot.
They also have cubicles for a lot of salespeople, but I never see more than 2 or 3 of them around anymore.
