I now that area well where he lives well. There's a lot of low rent apartments, aka drug houses and prostitutes in the immediate area. I'm guessing the HOA people are constantly sending letters for anything and everything. Though, stickers on a car are the last thing the HOA needs to worry about.

I don't know if this women is a anti-military liberal, or just trying to keep the rif-raf from taking over. My guess is she views the decals as militaristic rather than patriotic, and thus, part of the rif-raf.

This man is the one of the nicest people you could meet. He started shaking yesterday when I told him that his oil change was on the house and that we supported his cause. He is very a very low key person who doesn't want the limelight, but rather wants to be able to show his pride in his military.

Here is a video of him.

This is ridiculous. Just one more reason not move in where there's an HOA. It's a wonder they don't tell him what kind of car he can drive too.

Hey Brad,

Just makes you wonder when will people let ***** go, someone on this HOA with to much time on there hands ! It will be dropped eventually ! My one reccomendation would have been your dealership to include a Hat or License Plate Frame with the oil change ! You might have been able to get in on the advertisement thing !

HOORAAH,

HHR in the news...

Did anybody happen to see the news story about a Dallas area homeowner's association giving a Marine Corps vet a hard time because he had USMC and other patriotic stickers on his car?

One of the stories I saw showed the car and it was a black HHR...

I serve as VP on my HOA board to prevent this kind of stupid stuff from happening. I say if this man has to remove his decals then everyone else has to remove their, Obama or McCain or Baby on Board, or Dealer Decal from their car. While they are at it the better tape over any Manufacture Emblem on the car. After all who wants to look at the Toyota logo, it is advertising the car and that just can't be permitted.

I say unless you have someone doing something really stupid (ie.. building a nuclear reactor in their backyard) then leave them alone! People just don't know how to be good neighbors anymore.

Thumbs down hoa

we recently just got out of drought that we had in our area for a few years...we had restrictions on watering lawns and other things , as should be...people were getting fined by their hoa for having grass that was not green.....why would anyone sign away thier rights just to live in a nieghborhood with a bunch of idiots ??? i'd rather stay in a tent in the woods , or a van , down by the river ...i mean , in my hhr panel , down by the river. ...i am so greatful that i have an acre buffer where i currently stay , and if i outlive the small family i have here , i plan to move to where i have even more of a buffer zone...or maybe to france , so i can afford healthcare.

i would be willing to bet that every board member and especially her had dealer plate frames or dealer stickers on the back of their cars or SUVs. they are put on by every dealer these days.
