Can any one identify this car?

Mr Bumpstops went to the VW Classic in Irvine this past weeked and took a few pic's for ya'll.
The only info he got for this car was: fibergalss from Sweden with GullWing doors.
Any Smarty Pants out there?

Looks like it says Emerald but it looks like a modified Karman Ghia to me

not even that good looking
when i go to Albuquerque i see more Karman Ghias there then i have ever seen anywhere else

I found another picture Mr. Bumpstops took of another car/same body style. It says on the side "Rat Rometsch".
