My biggest step forward was to take a glider ride several years ago. I had been very uncomfortable flying up 'till that point. It was fabulous - totally quiet - but unfortunately hot as hell. Good for you! Do it. These are the things that make people stretch. Or, unless you hit hard - crumble.....:)

I may go and be a spectator. About the only way I would be able to partake in such an adventure for the near future.

Come on down! You may be able to hear me screaming all the way down.

The funny thing is I'll be jumping from an altitude of 10,000 feet. Last year I was on Mt Evans, CO. at an altitude of 13,000 feet. I'll actually be jumping out of a plane at a lower altitude than I was stand on the ground. Kinda wierd when you think about it.

10,000? I usually do 12,500 AGL (above ground level). Do you know what type of plane it is?
