For now, I'm still on IE, only because I'm running Mac OS X v10.1.2. I'll hopefully be getting a new computer by... uhh... next Christmas, lol...

The Power Mac G5 has had my eye for quite some time.

Firefox here...I'll never go back to IE.

Tried Opera for a little while...still preferred Firefox.

Nah, not really. My first computer was an IBM running Windows95. That computer was CRAP and lasted, barely, 4 years before its insides were fried. My second computer, the one I am on now, is a graphite iMac, which has (knock on wood) preformed well for the past six years, going from Mac OS 9 to X. I bought a Dell Dimension 4600 running Windows XP in 2003(?), which was my main computer until that, also, died after only one year. I'm a Mac supporter for life.

I saw this on a website and thought it was true, in a way (and, well, just funny):

"Image is much more important to the average Mac user than a PC user. He tends to view a Mac as an aesthetic Mercedes in a sea of Ford Tauruses, an elegant, well-designed, superior computer for elegant, design-conscious superior people.

The average PC user tends to look upon his machine as a glorified overcomplicated screwdriver. It's a tool, not an expression of themselves."

I must say I haven't been on osx too long, but I'm starting to see why people would pay the price to have it. I love dual booting osx and windows on my compaq. Once a cheaper intel ibook comes out I'll be buying that for sure.

Anyone using IE, dump it unless you enjoy spyware on your PC. Since switching to Firefox, not one spyware program has made it on to my PC.

You can't post a link within your message in Firefox. I have to bail out to IE on the few occasions that I need to do it.
