Its About Time!!!!!!!!

Finally gas for under $2/gal. ...... filled the truck up for 40 bucks when it used to cost me 75-90....man I sure wish it would stay at this price. For you peeps in TX in the DFW area this is at the RaceTrac in Burleson off of Alsbury. Now I just wish the gas stations right up the street would get this cheap, they are stil $2.44, but to top it off I averaged 20.2 mi/gal on the way back home

Unbelievable. Gas hasn't been that cheap up here in four years.

At a low of $63.00 a barrel for crude oil as of today's trading price...

It still should be lower than it is at the pumps...

Maybe, but we should all be happy to see that big of a decrease in such a short time. Usually when the crude prices go up, the pumps reflect it within a day, when it goes down, it takes weeks to see it at the pumps... This time, the decrease started within days of the crude prices dropping.

Just be glad you aren't buying Diesel, I am still paying about $3.50/gal for my truck

Oh, don't get me wrong... I'm VERY HAPPY at the decrease!!!

But, last time it was at $63.00 a barrel on the trade market - our price at the pump was below $2.00 a gallon right here in St. Louis... and this time it is $2.55 a gallon.

I didn't mean to suggest you weren't happy, I only meant to point out that I have noticed the decrease happening much faster than it has done in the past.

Let's hope the prices get caught up to $63 basis (or maybe less ) and we all see less than $2 soon

I sure know that the auto industry can use the boost!

Almost at the point where I don't want to fillup as I know the price will probably lower the next day...not a bad feeling...not great but not bad

Of course the rest of the economy is going down the tubes so that sort of tempers the gas price euphoria a bit.

Nothing like panic selling

It dropped to about 2.99 outside of Chicago which i haven't seen in a very long time. Its both good and bad, Good obviously it puts more money in our pockets which could help the economy.

Its also bad the barrel is falling due to economic down-turn. when fuel stablizies (sp) its a good sign actually. Mean the Economy is making a turn for the good.
