finally paid off the HHR. due to my diligence its paid off like 2 years early. sure i had some late payments but i actually own the car now. too bad the powertrain warranty is up in 4000 miles

 

Congrats on paying it off masterchief1112, always nice to have one less check going out every month.

I wouldn't sweat the end of the powertrain warranty, I've found over the years that if something is going to "go" it'll do it fairly early on.

 

My 2011 HHR 1LT was the first (and likely only) new car I've purchased that was paid in full on delivery. I have to say it was a great feeling to know I could enjoy my new ride and not face years of payments long after the new wore off. Congratulations on reaching your goal & paying yours off early. Great feeling isn't it?

I did the same thing with mine, my loan was for 3 years and I wanted to pay it off in 1 year. I did it in 8 Months, good feeling Not to have a monthly payment on it now.

Now you'll have some monthly Toy money.
