alot of cities do their fireworks on the third so that people can stay home and do their own on the 4th. unless you live in one of the more communistic states where such things are to dangerous to be held in the hands of normal people.

Rudy...Ft.Rucker has been having the same great celebration for a long time now.The requirements at the gates are stricter,like valid ID and proof of insurance,but it is still open to all and FREE!!

French has become such a big part of our holiday music.But what the heck...the cannons are a nice touch.

Fourth of July
The fourth of July should be on the Fourth! Duh. What's next Thanksgiving on Monday or New Years eve on Sunday. This PC stuff kills me. Did you guys see that somewhere they were doing the Star Spangled Banner in Spanish before a game. Maybe we should make Cinco de mayo a national holiday too.

Keep the 4th on the 4th,,,,, like the old days with Washington's and Lincoln's birthday were seperate. Change the 4th next we will be changing Christmas....
We have a big fireworks show here in Blue Springs on the 4th.... and we can shoot them from here also.
