Just Bought an HHR SS

Hello everyone. I just bought an HHR SS today and came across this forum. I look forward to reading and meeting you all. I hope to find some information on custom parts to add some more style to my new HHR SS. I found some nice LED Tail Lights from IPCW but I would love to find some smoked/tinted headlight assemblies. All I can find is the film tint and I am not sure if I would like to go that route. If anyone knows of good places to shop and look for HHR accessories such as head lights and tail lights I would love to know.

Welcome

If you want smoked headlights, vinyl is the only way to go. If you install it right, you won't have any problems.

I gotta agree, the best option for the headlights are vinyl. I had some on mine for a while. Looked great, I just like seeing as well as I can at night. BTW.........

Thanks, I guess I am just worried about bubbling and it pealing off due to age and weather. It is a black HHR so having the tinted headlights and the Black Cover LEDs should look pretty good on there.

Thanks, I have been wanting one for a while. I sold my 1998 S10 SS to get one. Thought it was time to get into a vehicle with a back seat and something better on gas MPG. But since I had an SS before in my truck I just had to get an SS again no matter what I bought. I must say that this little thing is pretty quick when that turbo kicks in.

Welcome, enjoy the ride...!!
Just make sure that you open both fuse boxes and push down all the fuses. Mine were all not completely push down. Don't get any tickets!!
