Taxes done, huge cheque written, but wait, we have to pay by internet transaction now! No more hand written cheques!
Strange we can’t file directly to the CRA, that is to futuristic!

The IRS will allow you to have the amount you owe withdrawn from your account. Whoever does your taxes must simply indicate that in his/her software.

But you still have to mail in the payment voucher.

For federal, I e-filed and paid electronically. I won't have to mail anything. If one has to make quarterly estimated payments, I'm not sure, but I would think you could pay electronically also, and not have to mail anything.

California, the quarterly vouchers say on them, that you can do it that way.

With all the data breaches that keep happening, everyone should create an account with IRS.gov. Do it before someone else creates an account in your name, and you're locked out. If you have an account, you can pay electronically.

They must have changed this year. I haven't made enough to pay taxes for 2 years. Last time I did I had to mail the voucher either with the payment or separately.

Just a reminder to homeowners over 65; check with your local real estate tax agency, you may be able to get a homestead tax break. Mine is more than half off.

A Good Way to make sure of all the ways to file your U.S. Taxes is to get in touch with a Prison Jail Bird and see what they do.

I file mine Electronically as earlier as possible and get a direct deposit ... No Problems yet.
