Just how illegal is a rocking chair?!?

Okay, folks... If you ever thought that you got a ticket that was unwarranted, just take a look at this guy's story who lives here in my hometown:

http://www.enidnews.com/localnews/lo...296005332.html

If you read some of the comments that other residents or former-residents leave, you'll see just how fed up some citizens are.

Oh, and finally, I would just like to say about our law enforcement:

This is totally ridiculous. How can the chair be a "mosquito magnet" or a health hazard? It is under a roof out of the weather. You would think the city would have other problems to worry about rather than bothering a DISABLED man who likes to sit on his front porch and enjoy the outdoors. Where is the crime here? I would almost expect this in some parts of the country, but not in small town America.

Exactly..

Enid has about 47-50,000 people, and a pretty large police force, who really don't go after the bigger fish, but rather stick to the pettiest crap. If I had a porch, I would go get an old rocking chair just so I could protest

Even Boss Hog wouldn't kick Uncle Jesse out of his rocking chair though.

It's time to take a hard stance on crime, they should lock the old guy up! Zero tolerance, oh yeah!
