Angry This just really annoys me!

Went to Hardies tonight, placed my order at the drive thru, drove up to the window, paid for my order, and was asked to pull forward.............

BUT, there was no one behind me or even in line ordering!

This Hardees does this a lot. I just don't get it. I point out that there is no one behind me and they STILL ask me to pull forward, WTF!! Tonight, I said I didn't mind waiting. It took a couple minutes for my order and then I was on my way. No one pulled in line to place an order the whole time!

Thanks for letting me vent.

Makes no sense for you to move if no one is behind you

And that's why my local Hardees has opened and shut down twice, asides it being in a awkward location. Never had they given me what I ordered correctly, drive thru or walk in, even if I was the only customer in line.
Long live the Angus ThickBurger. not

From what I know there on the clock/timer that tells the manager or someone high up how long it takes to get the food out and it starts soon as you drive up. Next time you go inside look over by the drive thru and most will have some kinda timer.
I was told about it once after I was asked to pull forward and said no...lol I think the boss should know how long it really takes.......

yeah a lot of taco bells have them since it used to be that if you didn't get it in time you got it free or something similar. I know i was at one one time, inside, and looked at the lock and it said something like 9 minutes... kind of a long wait for some TB.

most likely it what Iceman said, it is a way for them to cheat the numbers.

I agree that it's a timer thing, but still there was no one else anywhere!

Yeah, I would guess that they do that, in case someone pulls up and orders, that way they don't have to ask you to move.

Why should I have to move until my food is ready?

Well, if it's going to take say 4 minutes, someone else may pull up behind you and order. At that point they'd have to ask you to move, and I'm sure some people wouldn't like that, you think they're going to hand you the food, but they just tell you to move.

It's just an idea.
