I'm sorry people. I guess I didn't explain the requirements enough. So, an explanantion is needed.

While all the posts have commendable "goals", most are normal. For example, you don't want your kids to grow up bad and you don't want to be a bad/dishonored father or you don't want to provide poorly for your family. So stating the opposite of these is considered normal.

What the Doctor/author was referring to is "things" that you PERSONALLY would like to achieve, out of the normal......like someone mentioned, "the fastest car", "blasting across the flats...", "flying in a F-22", "changing the political system". Or as examples,..... to participate in a climb on Mt. Everest, hike the Grand Canyon, participate and win the national paint ball championships, play world class poker, etc. (sorry ladies, these are probably all examples for the "guys", what are yours"). Just thought of this...Deb....Driving Tony Stewarts car for 5 laps in a NASCAR event.

So, let's start over, if we can.

Should you still list a goal even if you know your goal is more than likely unattainable? For example changing our political system like you pointed out. I would love for it to happen but chances are I'll never see it happen during my lifetime.

Snoopy, trust me, my goals would be out of the ordinary for me!

But now that you mention it:

Well Snoopy took my basics away..(seeing my daughter Jubilee get married, provide for my fam)

    1. Travel and see the US from my HHR.
    2. Find a special woman to love me for who I am and my daughter too!
    3. Watch a piano fall on my ex-wife... repeatedly.
    4. Go back to Japan and stay for more than a couple months.
    5. Watch the tape I made of said piano repeatedly falling on ex-wife's head peacefully in my lay-z-boy, with a cold ice tea in one hand, and a plate of pizza rolls in the other, until I pass into the next life with a smile 3 miles wide on my face!

(before anyone says anything flaming me keep in mind 2 things, 1. you've never met my ex, 2. this is MY life goals not yours!! )

    Yeah, but within reason....for instance......

My goal to have a "party" for all the Arizona Vets....I probably couldn't do this unless I win a BIG lottery. But, I have told quite a few people if I win, I will do this. Impossible....no, but it is improbable !!

    Going by Snoopy's first post:
If I can't sleep with Jessica Simpson, then I won't bother to try and achieve anything else.

    1. Open a microbrewery
    2. Own rental property
    3. Visit the great beer countries of the world. Australia, Ireland and Germany

Published in a book or magazine
    Present at an industry conference
Own a Harley by age 30 (done twice, as I have two)
