My primary distro is PCLINUX 2007 but I am always trying new ones when released. I have a second PC that has ELIVE on it , still trying to figure it out.

I used MyahOS for a while last year, it was based on Slackware. That is the only experience I've had with Slackware. I have used Ubuntu, Suse and Mint. I'm not much of a command line user so that limits what I can install. Just got sick of virus and spyware problems and the blue screen of death! Linux is the way for me. Bill Gates won't miss me, and I sure don't miss Windoze!

I tried Redhat once in it's earlier days and was not impressed.

When I ran Linux on my server it was always Slackware.

They say if you want to learn Ubuntu use Ubuntu, if you want to learn Redhat use Redhat but if you want to learn Linux use Slackware

I used Slack on a web server at the company I used to work for and loved it. Too bad that after I left they replaced it with Win2000 because of some bone headed web designer.
